How can L&D effectively prepare their workforce for a world that is continuously redefining how businesses operate? To respond to the unpredictable nature of work and the decreasing half-life of skills, organizations must reconstruct learning and development (L&D) to enable enterprise and workforce adaptability.
Today’s learning functions produce formal educational experiences that, despite improvements in technology and processes to “run learning like a business,” remain out of tune with individual and organizational performance needs. Our research[1] shows traditional L&D activities fail to help organizations and their workforces achieve business and career goals because of this lack of harmonization. In this webinar, we will present findings from our learning organization operating model research on how learning organizations can better coordinate, govern, manage, and deliver experiences and information to adapt for the future of learning.
Attendees will gain knowledge on questions such as:
- Why traditional talent management approaches need to yield to a more workforce architecture approach.
- Why moving away from static views of centralized, decentralized, or federated operating models to creating dynamic elements that embed workforce development where the work happens is more relevant to organizational outcomes
- How to build project-based teams to create and deliver workforce development strategies
- How to fuse processes, technology, and human capabilities to build worker resilience and foster continuous workforce development
- How to shift your mindset toward leading as a steward and connector of workforce development
