With a worldwide membership of 67,000 cardiovascular providers, the American College of Cardiology (ACC) is crucial in providing impactful educational content. This significance was underscored in 2016 when the World Health Organization (WHO) presented a substantial request for a mobile-first design educational curriculum, a new challenge for ACC. This endeavor marked ACC’s first foray into democratized education products and required expertise in mobile-first design, a domain they hadn’t previously explored. Acknowledging the need for creative and collaborative expertise, ACC explored multiple options through RFPs and eventually connected with Infopro Learning at the Brandon Hall event in Washington, DC.

Infopro Learning’s learning journey map, designed with input from various experts, including learning scientists, left a lasting impression, confirming their suitability for the project. The resulting NCD Academy, a part of this collaboration, has garnered immense engagement worldwide, reaching millions of individuals. This partnership has yielded two notable outcomes, internally and externally:



  • ACC’s innovation design team has experienced remarkable growth and learning, with Infopro Learning’s guidance fostering the development of various interactive formats, gamification strategies, and content repurposing techniques.
  • The partnership’s success is evidenced by the acclaim received for the educational initiatives, with the largest curriculum developed by Infopro Learning being hailed as one of ACC’s finest educational accomplishments, even within a niche disease topic.
